Journey Kids
Journey Kids Ministry exists to see every child who attends grow in their knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ in a fun, loving and caring environment.
Sundays in August & September

Early Childhood & Elementary Sunday Classes:
Sunday classes for Early Childhood (Nursery - Kindergarten)
& Elementary (1st - 5th grade) are available during both the
10:00 am and the 11:30 am services.
August & September Theme:
As the adults work through the Abide series, our kids will be learning the same message with a slightly different theme. Our theme, Roots, shares the same goal: To grow deeper through God's Word. We desire to help our church family (especially our kids) develop a personal connection with God through reading Scripture. Throughout the next seven weeks, we’ll explore the major themes and genres of the Bible so kids can see how every part of Scripture tells one Big Story of Redemption with Jesus at the center. Our hope is that each child grows in their understanding of God’s Word and learns that a personal relationship with Him is essential for lifelong spiritual growth.
Kids Month at a Glance

LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE BEFORE OTHERS, SO THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS AND GIVE GLORY TO YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN.
(Matthew 5:16b)
Our Hope

Is to help the next generation grow in their walk with Jesus and serve others in Love. That relationships with their ministry leaders, and peers would be strengthened through our time together. That relationships formed within the four walls of the Church, would eventually extend beyond in order to have true community, and influence. We take the safety of every child entrusted to us seriously, therefore every ministry leader and volunteer leader within the Kids Ministry is regularly background checked.
We Value

Safety - It’s a safe place to be.
Security - Each child is protected.
Love - Each child is loved and accepted.
Jesus - Each child learns about Jesus.
Fun - Each child will have fun.
At Journey, we support a number of ministries to help disciple and grow our congregation. Please submit a volunteer interest form.
Jesus calls all of us to serve the Lord and we believe in the importance of being on a team. This means serving the family in some form that supports the body and brings Jesus glory. Serving is one of the ways we grow our faith and learn the heart of Jesus and is crucial to sharing our faith with others. Let us know how you would like to get involved.
Parents spend way more hours with their students than any youth worker ever will. We want to equip you as your student's primary spiritual provider. Below is a list of resources to better equip you in this mission.
We'd love to dive deeper with you into this philosophy, any of these resources, and the relationship between parents and students. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to discuss any of this in more detail! Contact Journey Kids Ministry
